How many companies have sponsored you HIB. I have seen your post in different threats too. Tell me what u gonna do if u get approved by two companies.

Hi Pratham29,

I am sorry but you are mistaken. I am just sponsored by Longs Drug. And moreover I couldn’t afford to be sponsored by any other chain Pharmacy as I have signed a contract with longs and believe me I would be under a good amount of debt if i would try to break that contract. I can view drug lawyer site.

If you know anyone who has been sponsored by longs drug and has received the receipt, Please let me know I would really appreciate.
RM200 you can buy normal 1400W motor Vacuum which using paper bag.

Item(s): New Full set Samsung Vacuum Cleaner SC4340 fully imported from Korea, with aluminium extension wand,Ebony Black in color.
1800W motor, with 360W suction power(very powerful suction power). Other vacuum cleaner with bag only manage around 280W suction power only, power would decrease half when the bag is half full. The powerful suction of Twin Chamber System is maintained for a longer period of time compared to other single cyclonic bagless vacuums, and it is far better than vacuum with bag.

hey guys some advice required as we are shifting our house:

1. Refrigerator- Have used godrej and then samsung from last 5 years with no complaints with either. Now I saw a TOSHIBA Fridge and the colour actually totally matches up with our kitchen colour. So can anyone tell me how is Toshiba when it comes to home appliances? Is it worth experimenting with it or rather go with good old samsung only?

2. Microwave – We dont use one right now but now planning to change that. So which brand is the best for microwave? Our usage will more be approx 90% just re-heating and may be 10% cooking. This might change later on as we get more used to using it.

3. Vacuum Cleaner- Again never used one. So which one to buy? Absolutely no idea. The sales guy here told me samsung is the best in this dept also.

Looking forward to some inputs.

This community is located 210 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg, the province’s capital, and 50 kilometers from Brandon, the Westman Region’s largest center.

Minnedosa’s beginnings were in the early 1870’s when John Tanner developed a stopping place along the Carlton Trail at a crossing of the Little Saskatchewan River. The stopping place known as “Tanner’s Crossing” soon attracted hundreds of settlers as they passed through on their way west. In 1879 the first bridge was built over the river and Tanner’s Crossing was soon forgotten. The town of Minnedosa was officially incorporated in 1883.

The economy in Minnedosa is based largely on agriculture and farming. Major crops include most cereal grains and oilseeds, as well as many forage crops for livestock. There are several livestock operations in the area which augment these crops. The town is a full-service centre for agriculture in the area. Manufacturing is a big part of the town’s economy as well, with two major plants operating in the community – one producing farm machinery and the other producing Ethanol from grain for use as an automotive fuel and other industrial applications.

Minnedosa Dispensary

Minnedosa has a thriving retail and business district where residents can purchase almost all they will ever need. The business district offers shopping and services for residents of surrounding communities.

Recreation plays an important part in the lives of many Minnedosa residents. Facilities such as hockey and curling rinks, baseball diamonds and soccer fields exist, as well as several unique facilities. The town boasts historical walking trails and paths, and numerous historical sites.

The jewel of the community is Lake Minnedosa, created by a dam and spillway on the Little Saskatchewan River. Home of Manitoba’s longest fish ladder, the 600-foot structure was constructed by conservation officials and groups to aid fish over the dam in their migration routes.

Mediplan Health, the largest mail order pharmaceutical operation based in Canada, which in three years has blossomed to become the biggest employer in Minnedosa, is planning a major expansion. This coming spring, it will open a 15,000 square-foot plant in Niverville to help it cope with growing demands for services. A press conference was called for 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 03 at Niverville Council Chambers to lay out details of the co-operation between the town and company that makes the expansion possible in Niverville. The move is regarded by the Town, the Province and the industry as an enormous vote of confidence in a field that has drawn controversial attention, including recent threats from giant pharmaceutical corporations. “I want to stress three things,” Mediplan’s Development Director, Chantelle Rzepka, said today. “First, our confidence in Niverville and the Province of Manitoba; second, the strong ties we continue to forge with Minnedosa; and, third, our faith in the future growth and well being of our enterprise.” Stats Canada described Niverville after the last census as the “fastest growing urban community in Manitoba.” The town is about 30 kilometers south of Winnipeg and has a population of about 2,200. Mediplan’s confidence in its future arises from what it sees as the very positive support the mail order pharmacists have received from the Province of Manitoba. Mediplan’s business fills a genuine, humanitarian niche. It ameliorates the distress of those hard-pressed to meet essential pharmaceutical needs, Mrs. Rzepka said. “It was Niverville’s strong municipal report that made it our choice for a location.

That and the fact it is one of the most enterprise-sensitive rural communities in the province. It also fitted perfectly with Mediplan’s rural roots and Manitoba’s policy of encouraging rural economic diversification,” she said. Mrs. Rzepka said the company opted to create this new plant beyond Minnedosa because it felt it had drawn fully on the naturally available supply of labor in its home town. “We love our town here and its people and this will always be our headquarters base – our people all understand that – but good sense required that we look elsewhere. We signaled intention about six months ago.” “We chose Niverville because it has many of the qualities that endear us to Minnedosa. It is a thriving, lovely town. It has a labor base with a wonderful work ethic. And it has a very forward-thinking Town Council.” Initially, Mediplan expects to have a staff of about 50-100 employees in the opening months of its million-dollar operation in Niverville.

Mayor Gordon Daman said he and his four-member council saw Mediplan as an excellent opportunity to grow the industrial base of Niverville. “We were delighted with the company’s young principals, their drive and enterprise. We liked the way they do things. We like their confidence in the face of big-business adversity. And we are very encouraged by the confidence expressed by the provincial government and its industry minister, The Hon. Mary Ann Mihychuk, that this type of enterprise is in Manitoba to stay. “The government is clearly looking at businesses such as Mediplan as being the backbone of growth in communities like ours. And we relish the partnership,” Mr. Daman said.

Many politicians, senior advocacy groups and government agencies in the USA support drug importation from Canada. Many do not.

The arguments range from unsafe medications (primarily from unscrupulous operators here and abroad), to financial losses in the U.S. pharmacy industry, to a possible drug shortage in Canada if they ship all their medications to the U.S.

Nevertheless, drug importation although controversial, is growing at a record pace, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Safety and value are main concerns

Mediplan is one of only a few Canadian mail order pharmacies currently approved and certified to safely import medication into the USA. Mediplan is acknowledged as the leader in the Industry for establishing and adhering to strict quality and protocol guidelines which assure delivery of appropriate medication as prescribed.

In addition to our ability to reliably and safely fill large volumes of prescription orders in a timely way, Mediplan consistently leads the industry in first class courteous service and competitive pricing. Mediplan is a well established organization you can trust and depend on.
Highest quality patient care

We pride ourselves on utilizing the most advanced technology, and rigorous standards of pharmacy procedures as specified by Health Canada, the governing power that regulates the Pharmacy Industry, similar to the Food And Drug Administration (FDA) in the USA.

Above all, excellent patient care is our number one priority.

Highlights of our services include:
1,500 medications at savings from 30% to 80% below USA pricing
All prescriptions are reviewed by a licensed physician and dispensed by a licensed pharmacist.
All medications are shipped and sealed in original drug manufacturers bottles. 100% satisfaction is guaranteed.
Mediplan is certified to safely import medication into the USA from Canada.

Since 1999, Mediplan Pharmacy and its subsidiary RxNorth, has delivered more than1 million prescriptions to consumers in the USA without experiencing a single incident of any patient receiving unsatisfactory medication as prescribed by a U.S. doctor and delivered by our pharmacy. This outstanding service record has earned Mediplan the distinction of being Canada’s largest and most respected mail order pharmacy.

Currently, Mediplan has served more than 150,000 customers, mostly seniors, in the United States who buy long term prescription medication on a regular basis, spending more than 100 million U.S. dollars a year with Mediplan.

The customers in the United States, referred to as patients, buy from Canada because the prices are much less expensive, (30-80% less) for the exact same medication.

The average first order is $275.00, with a refill every 90 days. The average family saves $800 to $1,000 a year buying from Mediplan, with many families saving $3,000 a year, or more.
No need to drive to Canada

For many years, senior citizens in the USA who live close to the border either drove across, or took bus trips to Canada to buy their medication at a discount. Now, low priced prescription medication is available to everyone in the USA through the mail, from regulated, reliable Canadian mail order pharmacies such as Mediplan.
A controversial topic

Buying prescription medication from Canada is a controversial and passionate topic. The pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. do not like it because it hurts their profit in the U.S., where seniors pay the highest drug prices in the world. But for millions of seniors with no prescription coverage there is no other option. They either buy medications from Canada where the prices are much lower because of government regulation, or they may not be able to afford the important long term medication that may be needed to save their life.

Access to affordable medication in the USA is a serious, long term problem with no easy solution in sight. MediCare reform and various programs initiated by the USA government to help senior citizens (and others) bring little or no relief at this point in time.

This topic “hits close to home.” All of us have friends or family members who take medication for many ailments, and may not have any insurance or drug coverage to pay for it.
